Jakarta - Majalah Selular untuk ketujuh kalinya menganugerahkan penghargaan Selular Award kepada para vendor ponsel dan operator selular di Indonesia.

Penghargaan ini diberikan sejak 2004 meliputi berbagai jenis kategori penilaian baik yang didapat melalui polling, survei terbatas maupun hasil panel dari tim redaksi.

Untuk penilaian kategori operator sebagian besar menggunakan polling SMS dengan metode one man one vote dan melibatkan 1424 pembaca di seluruh Indonesia dengan jumlah total SMS yang masuk adalah 7534 SMS.

"Sedangkan untuk penilaian produk, Selular menggunakan panel dari tim editor dengan menggunakan standar penilaian yang telah terukur dan teruji," ujar Iman Aulia, Pimpinan Redaksi Selular, kepada detikINET, Jumat (9/7/2010).

Untuk penyelenggaraan Selular Award kali ini digunakan survei terbatas kepada para pelanggan setia untuk memperoleh kategori favorit pilihan pembaca. Dari hasil polling SMS (untuk kelompok operator), panel tim editor Selular (produk ponsel), dan survei terbatas (favorit pembaca) berikut hasil yang didapatkan:
